Al-Haq Europe is a human rights organisation based in Brussels, founded in 2022. It works to promote Palestinian human rights through legal research, litigation, and advocacy.
By working in coordination with Palestinian and European civil society, we strive to ensure the effective implementation of international law and human rights.
Al-Haq Europe is committed to holding perpetrators of human rights violations accountable through domestic, regional, and international mechanisms. We advocate for the liberation of Palestine and the inalienable rights of its people, ensuring that the voices of women, youth, and persons with disabilities are included in our mission.
Our Vision
Al-Haq Europe’s vision is to contribute to achieving the Palestinian people’s aspiration for freedom, justice and dignity, premised on the realisation of the collective right to self-determination, in line with international law and human rights standards.
Our Mission
Al-Haq Europe is an independent human rights organisation based in Brussels that seeks to promote the human rights of the Palestinian people through legal research, strategic litigation and advocacy, with a focus on influencing duty bearers, stakeholders, including policy-makers, civil society across Europe and the European union (EU), and by working in coordination with relevant Palestinian and European civil society.
Al-Haq Europe strives to advocate for the effective implementation of international law, human rights, and relevant domestic and regional laws, thereby contributing to the global efforts in the fight against impunity. Al-Haq Europe seeks to hold to account perpetrators of human rights violations, grave breaches and international crimes against the Palestinian people through relevant domestic, regional and international mechanisms.
In fulfilling its mission and vision, Al-Haq Europe pursues an inclusive approach in advocating for the liberation of Palestine and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including by extending the space to women, youth, persons with disabilities, among others.
